A reinforced elastic retention band on the back of the adapter plate securely holds the Aputure MC Pro in place, replacing the original Dashlight mounting arrangement.

Magnetic connection with positive dome locking

The adapter uses a magnetic mounting interface to connect to a specially designed locking ring. Rather than relying solely on the silicone dome's original retention tabs, the ring positively secures the dome, helping prevent accidental separation during handling and use.
